I am officially a stay at home mom!!! I love it.!!!!!!
Our life has become a little less stressful. I have begun babysitting for two of my sisters, so the house is crazy from 5:30 am to 4 pm Monday thru Friday. Today I have 9 kids including my own. The boys only want to fish and swim and the girls, well they're girls. I am planning to get my scrapbook room started soon so I can actually scrapbook. Mom is going to give me her sewing cabinet and machine. I am sad to say that I have not had my machine out since we moved back 8 1/2 yrs ago.
My big plans are to take a little more time getting closer to God. My youngest son chose to give his heart to the Lord at our vacation bible school. So happy and proud, he is such a caring little fella.

I DID IT!!!!!
Well, I finally made the leap and quit my job. I am so excited and yet very nervous. Ron and I have talked for years about doing this but I just couldn't cut the strings. I am just so relieved. I really feel like this is the direction God is leading me to go. I am just going to keep praying and my faith strong. Here goes nothing!!!!

Spring Cleaning
One of my favorite days is quickly approaching......SPRING CLEAN-UP!!!!!! I love getting rid of broken tricycles, bikes, broken wagons, and the list goes on. Ron and I are trying to clean out our garage which we never park in. Our big plan is to finish it out and make a large family room, office, and SCRAPBOOK room. I am so excited to have a space for my crafting collections.
Big project for the month of April is going to be painting the Sunday school room at my church. I ordered a tree wall sticker which is pretty cool. The age range is 4-8 yrs so I am trying to meet somewhere in the middle for decorations. I will post some before and afters in a few weeks.
Have a great week and remember GOD is so good!

Couch to 5K
This year we, Ron and I, are determined to run a 5k. So far, I am to week 6 in the program and struggling. Ron just can make this look so easy. I am going to try and challenge myself to continue with the program in the madness of baseball season. So excited to watch my boys play ball this spring and summer. Until next time!!

Working Mom
The year has started out with a nasty gastro bug to infect our house. Nice start! Oh well, I did get to take a day off work to hang with my baby today. Bummer that she is sick though. I really wish I could take the huge step and just stay at home all the time. A BIG leap of faith, but I just am not there yet.
In the world we live in now I feel like I should show my children it is good to work for a living. However, at the same time I would love to stay at home and be there when they get off the bus. Such hard decisions with good and bad sides to each. As for now, I will continue to work part-time and be thankful for a wonderful job in this economy.
Have a great week to a wonderful New Year!!!

Bring on 2011!
I always have lots of BIG plans for a New Year. This year is going to be a little different. I am NOT going to plan to lose weight, save money, or keep my house clean. I do plan to serve the Lord a little more and spend more quality time with my children. I hope to keep up this blog a little more timely but not really placing that on a list. So here is to 2010, and bring on 2011~

Cold snowy days!!!
Well December has been quite cold in WV. I feel so behind in all the hustle and bustle of Christmas. I really wish I had more time to spend with the kids baking and crafting. We attempted to have pictures taken at the local photography spot. As usual, Ty could not restrain himself from making the craziest faces. I felt so bad for the photographer. Ron and I just had to laugh because it is just so Ty and that is why we love him.
I plan to deco up my scrapbook furniture with a little paper/fabric and lots of mod podge. We'll see how that turns out. So many big plans for the upcoming year I hope some will actually get accomplished. Have a blessed CHRISTmas and a wonderful New Year!!!

BPS end of class photo
This is the my favorite picture from the class I just finished up at bigpicturescrapbooking.com. I love this picture of Miss Paige doing her girly twirls in the front yard. I hope the next class is just as rewarding to look back on as this one has been. I am moving on to manual mode!

Spring........2010
Spring, so happy to see you! I love this time of year with trees budding, flowers blooming, and baseball bats cracking. A few plans we have for spring include participating in the Great Strides walk at Kanawha State forest, baseball, and building a new play gym for the kids.
I am also reminded of how blessed my life is while watching family and friends gather for holidays and gatherings. My big plan for 2010 is to run in a 5K and get my scrapbook supplies a little more organized. I will try to keep up with posts for my scrapbook room as I progress. Have a great Spring!

Peanut!!
January has not started off so great. Cold and snowy days have not stopped since we brought in the new year. One of our dogs was hit by a car and had to have surgery today. She is just so pitiful right now. I know that in a few weeks she will be chasing the cat again, but very had to hear her whimpering with pain. Hats off to the wonderful vets at Valley West. They were able to save her leg with the help of a little hardware. The kids keep asking if we have a robotic dog now:) So funny how they picture the world and the problems in it. I will keep updating on Peanut's status over the next few weeks! GOD bless you!

Happy New Year!
Hello 2010!
Hope everyone has a great new year. Every year I want to watch the ball drop, but every year I usually fall asleep way before. This year I have several things I would like to work on improving. One of these things YOU can help with........Cystic Firbrosis. My nephew was diagnosed with CF at 6wks old. My sister has a team each year to raise money for the CF Foundation. I will post more details about our team and how you can help out this wonderful organization. I hope everyone has a blessed 2010!

Thursdays
I love Thursdays! Mainly because they are really my Fridays in the working world. I love being able to work part time with a thousand thanks to my super husband. Miss Paige and I are able to get a ton of housework accomplished while the boys are at school. However, it is very quiet around our house without the constant chatter of the boys. I remember coming home from school and my mom would always have a snack waiting for us. My goal for this school year is to try and do the same for my kids. Well, since I am actually at work I should do some. Have a great day!
