Bring on 2011!

I always have lots of BIG plans for a New Year. This year is going to be a little different. I am  NOT going to plan to lose weight, save money, or keep my house clean. I do plan to serve the Lord a little more and spend more quality time with my children.  I hope to keep up this blog a little more timely but not really placing that on a list. So here is to 2010, and bring on 2011~

Cold snowy days!!!

Well December has been quite cold in WV. I feel so behind in all the hustle and bustle of Christmas. I really wish I had more time to spend with the kids baking and crafting. We attempted to have pictures taken at the local photography spot. As usual, Ty could not restrain himself from making the craziest faces. I felt so bad for the photographer. Ron and I just had to laugh because it is just so Ty and that is why we love him.
I plan to deco up my scrapbook furniture with a little paper/fabric and lots of mod podge. We'll see how that turns out. So many big plans for the upcoming year I hope some will actually get accomplished. Have a blessed CHRISTmas and a wonderful New Year!!!

BPS end of class photo

This is the my favorite picture from the class I just finished up at  bigpicturescrapbooking.com. I love this picture of Miss Paige doing her girly twirls in the front yard. I hope the next class is just as rewarding to look back on as this one has been. I am moving on to manual mode!

Spring........2010

Spring, so happy to see you!  I love this time of year with trees budding, flowers blooming, and baseball bats cracking.  A few plans we have for spring include participating in the Great Strides walk at Kanawha State forest, baseball, and building a new play gym for the kids.

I am also reminded of how blessed my life is while watching family and friends gather for holidays and gatherings. My big plan for 2010 is to run in a 5K and get my scrapbook supplies a little more organized. I will try to keep up with posts for my scrapbook room as I progress. Have a great Spring!

Peanut!!

January has not started off so great. Cold and snowy days have not stopped since we brought in the new year. One of our dogs was hit by a car and had to have surgery today. She is just so pitiful right now. I know that in a few weeks she will be chasing the cat again, but very had to hear her whimpering with pain. Hats off to the wonderful vets at Valley West. They were able to save her leg with the help of a little hardware. The kids keep asking if we have a robotic dog now:) So funny how they picture the world and the problems in it. I will keep updating on Peanut's status over the next few weeks! GOD bless you!

Happy New Year!

Hello 2010!

Hope everyone has a great new year. Every year I want to watch the ball drop, but every year I usually fall asleep way before. This year I have several things I would like to work on improving. One of these things YOU can help with........Cystic Firbrosis.  My nephew was diagnosed with CF at 6wks old. My sister has a team each year to raise money for the CF Foundation. I will post more details about our team and how you can help out this wonderful organization.  I hope everyone has a blessed 2010!
